The 4th of July is right around the corner! Have you made plans to celebrate yet? You'll find plenty of fun, festive activities to enjoy this Independence Day in Hilton Head! Here are some suggestions to help you plan out your holiday.
HarbourFest
Throughout the summer, Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina hosts HarbourFest. On the Fourth, HarbourFest will feature a phenomenal fireworks display over Broad Creek. There will also be a musical performance by Shannon Tanner and facepainting, balloon animals, and more from Cappy the Clown. This excellent event is free to the public!
Port Royal Fireworks
The Town of Port Royal will once again host a stunning fireworks display, with fireworks launched from a barge off of The Sands Beach. There will also be good food, refreshing drinks, and fun live music!
Hilton Head Firecracker 5K
Looking to plan an active Fourth of July celebration? Register for the Hilton Head Firecracker 5K! The race starts at Jarvis Creek Park and takes you on a scenic tour of the island. Stick around for the post-race party, which will feature snacks, a DJ, and more.
Crowds are expected to be large, so plan to arrive early if you want to insure a good viewing spot. Expect heavy traffic before and after the displays.
