The Zion Cemetery & Baynard Mausoleum Costumed Cemetery Tour series is back for the 2024 season. Every Tuesday at 10:30 am, from April 16, 2024 through October 15, 2024, you can come travel back in time at Zion Cemetery & Baynard Mausoleum! Costumed tour guides will share fascinating stories from Hilton Head's past. You'll get to visit the graves of four Revolutionary War heroes along the way, where you can learn all about the bloody battle that took place steps away!

Tours are presented by the Heritage Library Foundation, which is a non-profit library offering research assistance, classes & tours about Hilton Head Island’s history. They are a treasure trove of resources and always put on amazing tours and events!
The foundation is also presenting tours of Historic Fort Mitchel over the summer. This is another great tour for history buffs wishing to immerse themselves in the Civil War history of Hilton Head Island.
