5 Must Play Golf Courses on Hilton Head Island

April 10, 2018

When people think of Hilton Head, they often think of golf.  It goes together like the site of palm trees on a sandy beach.  And with over 400 golf holes spread across the island, honing in on golf is a thought for good reason.

Spring is the perfect time to tee off in Hilton Head – the temperatures are perfect and the summer crowds have not yet set in.  Some golfers daydream the course that boasts views of the red and white striped lighthouse; a backdrop at the 18th green at Harbour Town, a common site during the annual PGA Tour.

While visiting Hilton Head, be sure to check out these must-play courses:

-Harbour Town Golf Links (seapines.com, 800-732-7463, $209-$264).  Harbour Town Golf Links was just ranked number 12 in Golf Magazine’s Top 100 Courses you can play.

-May River at Palmetto Bluff  (palmettobluffresort.com, 866-706-6565, $175
