If you're like me, then autumn's approach has you dreaming about parties full of craft beer and pretzels. Well, you don't have to dream any longer! Oktoberfest is almost upon us! Here's how you can celebrate in Hilton Head.
Celebrate in Bluffton
Bluffton is the local Oktoberfest hub. Each year, they host a variety of festive events.
The big event this year is the Oktoberfest Dinner Festival at Hewitt Oaks, which will take place on October 6, 2022. There will be polka music, beer hall games, and lots of German beer! On the food menu, expect to find traditional German favorites with a Lowcountry twist!
There will also be an Octoberfest Party at Southern Barrel Brewing Co. on September 24, 2022. Sip delicious Oktoberfest Fest Bier and participate in competitions including a costume contest, yodeling competition, and beer stein holding contest.
Visit a Local Brewery
Hilton Head and its neighboring communities are home to some amazing craft breweries. Hilton Head Brewing Co. on Hilton Head proper is a small but mighty brewery. They typically have 16 beers on tap! Others not previously mentioned include Lot 9 Brewing Co. (in Bluffton), and River Dog Brewing Co. (in Ridgeland).
